Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic service organization whose purpose is to provide spiritual growth to its members through their charitable works. Our parish conference was established in 1996. Society volunteers (called Vincentians) visit the needy (regardless of their religious preference) in their homes, providing a sympathetic ear, hope and immediate financial assistance for rent, utilities and other basic needs. The work of the Society is supported by the Black Bag Collection, which is taken up monthly.
Our parish Society of St. Vincent de Paul is here to help! Not only do we assist individuals and families living in our geographical boundaries, but we also offer assistance to ANY SVdP parishioner who is in need. If you would like to speak to a Society caseworker, please call the parish office at 512-255-1389, and rest assured that all calls are handled in a confidential manner.
