Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to create a family account?
A: No, it is not necessary to have an account. The HUB is for easy access to your family information, tracking your time, talent and treasure, and parish involvement.
Q: The HUB isn't opening. What can I do?
A: Check your browser. Ministry Platform works best with Google.
Q: I tried to create my account and I'm receiving an error message, what do I need to do?
A: Ministry Platform, the database system, uses your email to locate your information. You will need to use the same email that you provided when you registered at the parish. If you do not remember the email address, please call Louise at 512-254-3798 to retrieve your information.
Q: Can I delete a family member from my profile?
A: No, you can only add members or change existing information. If you need to delete any information you will need to call Louise (512-254-3798)
Q: Can anyone else see my information if they are logged into their family account?
A: No, your information is secure and you are the only one able to see your information. The only information visible to anyone is in the online directory.
Q: Can I opt out of the online directory?
A: Yes, you can. At the bottom of the family page you can choose which items you want to share or keep hidden on the directory.
Q: How can I see my contributions?
A: When you go to the "My Giving" tab under the SVdP HUB you will see your contributions at St. Vincent de Paul and any other parishes you contribute to.
Q: I sent an "Opportunity" inquiry and have not heard back from anyone. Who should I talk to?
A: If you have not received a response with 2 days of any type of submission please call Louise. (512-254-3798)
