Included are resources, prayers, webinars, lists of online masses and live streams. Topics include Family Guide for Celebrating Palm Sunday through Easter, Having Difficult Conversations with Children, and Lent Recipes, to name a few. They continuously add content as they receive it.
Children learn their faith each week from the Sunday Gospels. This is a great resource for parents to have faith conversations with their children, from preschool through ninth grade. After Sunday Mass and during the week, discuss the readings and the homily using these resources. During the current health crisis, Pflaum is providing digital versions of the Unit 4 student lessons (English and Spanish) to our parishioners. We were never meant to be mere observers, and the same is true for the live-streamed Mass,” so says Denise Barnes, Communications Specialist for the Diocese of Jefferson City, Mo. Denise proposes five ways to better participate in a live-stream Mass: Prepare a space, Prepare yourself, Participate, Find the Blessings and Share. To learn more about how to better participate in a live-Stream Mass visit Denise's blog.
