These web pages aim to provide resources as our parish devises new ways of being that parish so beautifully described by Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium: “The parish is not an outdated institution; precisely because it possesses great flexibility, it can assume quite different contours depending on the openness and missionary creativity of the pastor. While certainly not the only institution which evangelizes, if the parish proves capable of self-renewal and constant adaptivity, it continues to be ‘the Church living in the midst of the homes of her sons and daughters.'” (No. 28, The Joy of the Gospel)
I’m sure the Holy Father wasn’t envisioning a pandemic as being the means for us to become more flexible and adaptive, but it’s certainly stretching us in many ways! Our parish staff and volunteers offer the following resources, in keeping with our Holy Father’s call for missionary creativity. We hope they are useful. Please do email us if you’ve got suggestions or would like to share some of your own missionary creativity!
The links on the left provide resources keeping abreast with the recent news, viewing live-stream Masses, how to be the domestic church, opportunities for online faith formation and how to stay in communications with the parish.
