Altar Servers provide our female and male youth (age 10 years or older, or 4th grade, received First Communion) with an opportunity to participate in the Liturgy, serve the Lord and develop leadership skills. The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest in the celebration of the Liturgy during Mass by performing specific functions. Altar servers also help the priest and the entire congregation praise God, through active participation in the Liturgy. Servers typically serve once a month.
