The Men's Club is a fraternal organization for the men of St. Vincent de Paul Parish that provides Christian fellowship and service to the parish and parish community. To foster the spiritual enrichment of men within St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by selflessly exercising our leadership to promote community services, and fellowship activities.
The Men's Club organizes social events throughout the year. The events are planned as some activities for men only, some for adults only and some for the entire family. Recent activities include golf tournaments, family bowling, and family picnics. Look for some future fun and funds events featuring BBQ.
The Men's Club will choose a charity or special need as a focal point each year. This year we are focusing on landscaping of the new parish facility and shelving for the pantry. The men's club also plans to sponsor Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas presents for the needy as we have done in the past.
The men participate in a variety of fund raising activities. These activities make it possible for the Men's Club to fund charitable activities and provide for occasional special needs of the Parish. An attempt is made to define the activities such that they can be done in fellowship and promote friendship and familiarity between the members. Past activities include:
We now expect to use the new BBQ grill in various fun and funds events.
The men's club is also a resource that can be called upon to support parish activities. Examples include set up/tear down for parish functions, and staffing food and game booths at the parish festival.
The men's club meets at 7:00 p.m. the second Monday of each month in the parish dining room.
Men's club dues are $12 per year payable in March.
