Respect Life



Mission Statement
 Respect Life works to instill respect for human life at all stages and to bring about a conversion of heart and mind for all to be open to God's special gift of life.

It is our belief that every human life is mingled with the divine.

Come join us
the First Sunday of every month
as we pray the rosary
30 minutes before each mass.



The Goals of the SVDP Respect Life Committee are:
  1. To encourage our parish family to be "good samaritans" to those in need.
  2. To educate our church community and increase public awareness of respect life/human life issues.
  3. To encourage communication with legislators on life issues.
  4. To have a comprehensive Respect Life resource library.
  5. To have an effective Gabriel Project serving the needs of women in crisis pregnancies.
  6. To have an effective Project Rachel alliance serving the needs of women coping with post-abortion issues.

We welcome any new members or visitors at our monthly meetings. The location and time of each meeting is announced in the Sunday bulletin and on this web page.

I can help in the following ways:

I am interested in joining the Respect Life Committee.

I am willing to provide a meal for a family in need.

I would like to help a mother-to-be in need. (training provided)

I would like to help a mother with a specific financial need.

I would be available to help with transportation.

I would like to open my home to a mother in need.

I am willing to provide child/elder card.

I am willing to make a donation of maternity/baby clothing, high chair, crib, car seat, diapers, baby wipes, baby shampoos, etc.
